If you are in your mid-20s and think that you are too early to for anti-aging products, think again.
According to the experts, our skin starts to age naturally by mid-20s. As dermal fibroblasts begin to age, they produce decreasing amounts of collagen and elastin which results in skin laxity and wrinkles.
Youthful, glowing skin needs to be maintained to prolong its youth thus it’s never too early to start incorporating anti-aging products as soon as we can.
From the brand that harness the volcanic power of Jeju, Korean skincare brand DCS (Dermatology Cosmeceutical Solution) has come out with its latest anti-aging range, NUTRIDERM, to help keep away fine lines and early signs of aging.

With rare Korean ginseng Berry as one of its ingredients, this NUTRIDERM range is not only gentle on the skin but also kind on the wallet. Prices range from $33.50 for a toner to $53 for an ampoule.
Rare Korean Ginseng Berry
The Korean ginseng berry can only be harvested once every four years over a seven-day period, giving rise to its rarity and value. Its powerful anti-aging properties make the Korean ginseng berry a prized ingredient in Korean skincare.
The secret to the Korean ginseng berry’s restorative power lies in its high concentration of ginsenosides. It contains twice the number of ginsenosides as compared to the more well-known and frequently used Korean ginseng root. Ginsenosides have excellent anti-oxidant properties which helps to protect the skin from daily environmental stress by fighting free radicals that cause skin aging.
Our skin develops wrinkles when it loses the elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid found within over time. On top of protecting our skin from the outside, the Korean ginseng berry increases the hyaluronic acid found in our skin cells, making our skin more plumped up and supple.
Volcanic Seawater
Other than the Korean ginseng berry, another key ingredient that gives skin its dewy nature is Jeju’s volcanic seawater. Just like all DCS product ranges, the anti-aging NUTRIDERM range is also infused with the pure, skin-loving water from Jeju Island in Korea. The volcanic seawater is highly-valued for its rare mineral content such as Selenium, Zinc and Iron, all of which are crucial to skin health because they help to repair and regenerate the skin from the external environmental stresses. The volcanic seawater has been highly purified of pathogens and heavy metals by passing through volcanic basalt rock for thousands of years.
We can now all be like one of those many Koreans women with beautiful and healthy mul-kwang-pi-bu (dewy, glowing) skin, with skincare products infused with nutrients-rich water, like in NURTIDERM.
Nature-Based Ingredients
On top of the Korean ginseng berry and Jeju’s volcanic water, NUTRIDERM products contain other nature-based ingredients such as marine collagen, licorice extract, vegetable worm mushroom extract and pomegranate extract. Hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin, nature-based ingredients provide your skin with the care it needs without stripping the skin’s natural moisture.
NUTRIDERM range consists of four products to incorporate into your daily regime: Ultra Nutrition Toner (S$33.50), Ultra Nutrition Ampoule (S$53), Ultra Nutrition Day Cream (S$41), and Ultra Nutrition Night Cream (S$41).
