Early this year, I’ve attended the L’oreal Bloggers event to preview a new anti-aging line – Revitalift Laser X3.
This new skincare line, comprising of a Revitalift Laser X3 Renewing Anti-Aging Serum, a New Skin Anti-Aging Cream and an Anti-Aging Transforming Eye Cream, was officially launched on 1st March 2013.
Have you noticed your first sign of aging? And if you do, what is the first thing you have discovered? Many women may have noticed their first sign of aging either through peers’ comments, self examination (as the woman above) or feedback from your beautician. So what are the common signs of aging? To name a few, here they are :
- appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- eye bags
- dull-looking skin
- enlarged pores
- loss of firmness
- pigmentation / dark spots
- uneven skin tone
- skin dryness
- nasolabial folds and marionette lines
Laser in a jar? During the event, we were told that Revitalift Laser X3 is claimed to have results equivalent to anti-aging laser treatments. Read on to find out more…
Revitalift Laser X3, formulated with 3% highly concentrated Pro-Xylane, is claimed to help reduce pores, plump up the skin and correct fine lines and wrinkles. Pro-Xylane is said to stimulate GAG synthesis, restoring water and nutrients to the dermal epidermal junction. In the dermis layer, it also re-organizes extracellular matrix while concurrently increasing elasticity and radiance.
Pro-Xylane, one of the major active ingredients developed in L’oreal Research, has also been formulated in Substiane by La Roche-Posay and Age Interruptor by Skinceuticals too.
Revitalift Laser X3 is also formulated with LHA, another active ingredient by L’oreal Research, that has resurfacing benefit.

After a quick glance at the ingredient list, almost all the ingredients seem pretty fine except probably benzyl alcohol and fragrance which are in miniscule quantities anyway.
