Review – Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream

When searching for an eye cream, many of you will probably look for something that could treat dark eye circles, puffy eyes or fine lines. But for me, I won’t just depend solely on one cream to solve these problems and I will usually remedy them with effective serums and treatments. The main function of an eye cream is to moisturize the delicate dry skin of my eye area.

I decided to give Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream a try as I have read numerous good reviews on this eye cream. Its small packaging can actually last me for almost 6 months.

This lightweight formula, specially formulated for oily skin, is claimed to help soothe and protect the delicate skin of the eye area.

Product profile

For all skin types, even “puffiness” prone or sunscreen sensitive skin. This easily absorbed, light cream is enriched with antioxidants and moisturizing oils to sooth and protect the delicate skin of the eye area.

Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream contains squalene that is a natural component of skin emollient that has antioxidant and immune-stimulating properties.

It contains sufficient humectants, emollients and amino acids that help to nourish the skin effectively.

Tocopheryl acetate, tocopherol and ascorbyl palmitate are some minuscule antioxidants that can be found in Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream.

The light and non-greasy texture is easily absorbed onto the skin. This gentle eye cream, enriched with anti-oxidants and moisturizing oils, effectively moisturizes and nourishes my delicate eye area.

As this eye cream is enhancing more on moisturizing than curing dark eye circles, puffy eyes or wrinkles, so if you are looking for an eye cream to treat the dark eye circles, puffy eyes or fine lines, Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream may not be the right one for you. It doesn’t have much benefits other than nourishes the delicate eye area.

One of the plus point is that it doesn’t contains any skin-irritant ingredients which is safe for those with sensitive eyes. Although it contains handful of parabens but fortunately these preservatives appear at the bottom few on the ingredient list which are usually in minuscule quantities.

Overall, I will evaluate Kiehl’s Light Nourishing Eye Cream as a very basic moisturizing eye cream.

Will I buy it again? Unlikely

    Hi Vivien,

Oh Gosh!!! This product has been discontinued recently and it has been replaced with a new product – “EYE ALERT Energy Booster To Combat Puffiness and Dark Circles” which costs S$45. It is claimed as an improved version of “Light Nourishing Eye Cream” with not only combat puffiness but also dark eye circles.
