SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer is one of the great feel-good moisturizer I’ve tested so far. In fact, I will classify it as a no-frill lightweight moisturizer with above average result.
SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer, ideal for normal or oily skin, is claimed to hydrate, nourish and reduce the appearance of pore size with an exclusive combination of natural extracts. High levels of pure vitamin E heal and protect while Brazilian sea algae deliver proteins, amino acids and essential minerials to the skin.
SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer hydrates, nourishes and helps reduce the appearance of pore size with an exclusive combination of marine extract.
As water is the first mentioned on the ingredient list which means it has the highest content, hence is suitable for oily skin.
SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer contains several species of algae like hypnea musciformis extract, gellidiela acerosa extract and sargassum fillipendula.
Stearic acid and stearyl benzoate are fatty acids used as emollients and as agents to help keep other ingredients intact in a formulation.
Cinnamomum cassia extract and witch hazel have antioxidant properties but they can be skin irritants. Zingiber officinalis extract and equisetum arvense extract are skin irritants.
Alpha Tocopherol (vitamin E) and retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) are potent antioxidants.
This lightweight water-based moisturizer leaves a smooth and non-greasy finish which nourishes and hydrates my skin pretty well.
Although SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer doesn’t contains any peppermint or whatsoever, but it does leave a cool feeling whenever I apply it on my face. I extremely like it a lot.
As it has claimed to contain burnet, cinnamon and ginger that can help reduce pore size without leaving the skin feeling greasy but the truth is they may make the pores appear smaller by virtue of the inflammation they cause. In a long run, the inflammation may cause a risk to the skin. For me, there is hardly any significant different on my pores size.
Although it contains numerous skin irritants, so far I haven’t encounter any problem at all.
The other setback for SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture Lightweight Pore-Minimizing Moisturizer is the jar packing. It will cause the good nutrients break down and deteriorate in the presence of air and light.
Will I buy it? Maybe
