Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant and is proven to help boost collagen production and brighten up the skin tone. It may also help to reverse sun-damaged skin. In fact, I have been using a well-packed 5% Vitamin C (L-ascorbic Acid) serum for a while and I can actually see results from it.
Though Vitamin C is very potent (at high concentration) however it is pretty unstable hence how the product is packed actually plays an important role for the efficacy of the product.
