Review – Kiehl’s 1st BB Cream, Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream SPF 50 PA+++

Recently, I was delighted to receive a surprise parcel from Kiehl’s and this round it is not a skincare or body product but a BB Cream! Yes Kiehl’s has finally launched their first BB Cream, also known as Blemish Balm Cream!

In the bag, it contains a full size Kiehl’s Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream, a hardcover notebook, a Kick-Kat and a BB-cream redemption gift voucher.

I’m a big fan of Kiehl’s and I love using Kiehl’s face sunscreen, body and hair products! I’m super excited about the launch of their first BB Cream and their first cosmetic cum skincare product. Frankly, I will never expect that Kiehl’s will one day develop a BB cream under their brand. To me, BB cream is more like a cosmetic product (an alternative to foundation) instead of a skincare product though it is usually formulated with skincare benefits.

Actually I’m not a big fan of BB cream (due to its thick consistency) and I usually prefer something light such as sheer foundation, tinted moisturizer or tinted sunscreen for a natural coverage and to even up my skin tone. And most of the BB Creams available in the market come in only one shade or probably two shades in warm and cool tones.

Yves Saint Laurant Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof (Electric Blue) & Rouge Pur Couture Lipsticks

Recently, I was super delighted to pick up a couple of Yves Saint Laurent products when I visited the new boutique store at ION Orchard #B2-34 for the second time.

This round, I’ve received a Poudre Sur Mesure Semi-Loose Powder Natural Radiance, 5 pieces of Rouge Pur Couture Lipsticks, a Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof (electric blue) and a Parisienne Eau De Parfum (refill).

Quite some time ago, I was delighted to receive a surprise parcel from Clarins Singapore and it contains the new Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundations (received 2 shades, 103 and 105).
