SIMPLE is an inexpensive, ordinary no-frill UK based skincare brand. For the past 10 years, it has gained my trust all thanks to one of their popular product ‘Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel’. Till now, it is still one of my ‘must-have’ essential daily skincare product. Well, that is why I didn’t have much consideration when I first purchased Simple Soothing Facial Toner.

This toner is relatively cheap @S$7.50, considering it as an United Kingdom-based skincare line. It is such a huge different in price if you compare it with the big brands at departmental stores.

Simple Soothing Facial Toner is claimed to contain NO PERFUME, NO COLOUR and NO ALCOHOL. And it is also claimed suitable for people with sensitive skin like me.

Review – Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel

Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel, is one simple product that I have been faithfully using it for the longest time. I like it very much, not only it’s 100% soap-free, but it also contains no perfume and coloring and is very suitable for sensitive skin.

In fact, I didn’t have a good first impression on this gentle face wash. I was rather uncomfortable while using it for the first time. Maybe because I’m not used to using a non-foaming cleanser, I have this weird feeling that my face was not properly cleansed. But to my surprise, after using it for a month, I noticed my skin condition has improved tremendously. My skin doesn’t feel as tight as before and the pores are more refined too. In addition, the oiliness on my T-zone area has reduced too, my face is less oily now.

Ingredients

Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel contains active ingredients like Pro-Vitamin B5, that can restores, softens and smoothes skin, and sodium hydroxide which helps to modulate the pH balance.

Results

It rinses away make-up, dirt, and pollution easily, leaving my skin refreshed, clean and smooth without feeling tight or dry. It provide my skin the moisture it needs without being harsh. It is very gentle on my skin and there is no irritation occurs at all. It’s suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
