L’OCCITANE Immortelle Divine Lotion & Divine Cream

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to try out two of the new L’OCCITANE premium skincare products – Divine Lotion and Divine Cream.

The Divine Cream, a new formula, has been voted the best anti-aging cream or beauty buy in various local and overseas magazines. The Divine Lotion is the latest addition to its Divine series that comprises of Divine Extract (a serum), Divine Cream and Divine Eyes.

I really adore L’OCCITANE body products and especially love its Lavender Relaxing Foot Cream very much! I’ve never tried L’OCCITANE skincare products before and I’m pleased to be given an opportunity to try their skincare range for the first time.

The new formulated L’OCCITANE Divine Cream, with 5 patents pending, is enriched with a new complex of 7 naturally derived active ingredients that is said to boost the properties of immortelle plant extracts and act at the heart of cells to correct the signs of aging. Immortelle, an active ingredient also known as golden sun, is a legendary flower of Corsica that never fades, even once picked. An organic cultivation programme was set up for Immortelle in Corsica and over 3 billion Immortelle flowers are harvested every year for L’OCCITANE. L’OCCITANE has already revealed and patented the exceptional aging-aging properties of organic Immortelle from Corsica – the only variety in the world that contains the effective high concentration of neryl acetate.

The new hair care range – Repairing Shampoo, Repairing Conditioner, Repairing Mask and Repairing Oil – are specially formulated to help repair the dry and brittle hair; and strengthen and protect the weak hair fibre.

It was an intimate private event held at the PREP salon at Mandarin Gallery #03-34 and each blogger got to experience a relaxing and pampering wash and blow session with the new repair hair care range before it was officially launched in end August 2013.

New Repairing Complex with 5 Essential Oils

In 2013, the L’OCCITANE laboratories are registering a new “anti-breakage” patent*. A repairing formula made with angelica, that combines five precisely dosed essential oils with a blend of plant-based restructuring amino acids. It is claimed to stimulate the genes that strengthen the hair’s overall structure, suppleness and resistance to breakage. The new repairing complex leaves hair soft and light, repaired from roots to tips.

Review – L’Occitane Cooling Deodorant Stick

L’Occitane Cooling Deodorant Stick, with organic verbena extract, is a alcohol-free stick deodorant. This waxlike deodorant glides on easily and dries fast. Enriched with mint, essential oils of verbena and some citrus properties that prevents bacteria development, which causes body odor and has the long-lasting scent of the fresh and sparkling citrus.

Ingredients

Although, L’Occitane Cooling Deodorant Stick is formulated free from alcohol, paraben and aluminium salt, but it contains skin-irritant natural ingredients like mentha piperita, verbena officinalis extract, fragrance and linalool.

It also contains beneficial ingredients like salvia officinalis (sage) oil, a potent antioxidant and propylene glycol, a humectant which is a water-binding agent.

Texture

Dry and waxy

Results

I could only barely finish half of this 50g L’Occitane Cooling Deodorant Stick even after one year of daily application. The expire date is one year after opening.

After application, it provides a refreshing citrus scent which I like very much. My skin feels dry and non-sticky. It helps to control the odor effectively.

Will I buy it again? …… Maybe!
