[Sharing] Dolce&Gabbana’s New Limited Edition LIGHT BLUE Fragrance Duo

 

On October 18th 2015, the face of Dolce&Gabbana’s Light Blue and acclaimed international model David Gandy, had visited Sephora ION Orchard in Singapore to celebrate the brand’s widely awarded summertime fragrance.

The Light Blue Fragrance

Capturing the world for over a decade, the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue fragrance was re-launched in 2012 to reinforce Dolce&Gabbana’s Mediterranean heritage and champion this much-admired scent. ‘Pour Homme’ remains unchanged, apart from its modernized design to consistently reflect the look of ‘Pour Femme’. Specific to the Light blue pillar, the fragrance is a casual and breezy, sparkling fruity-floral scent that evokes the spirit of the Sicilian summer.

Every year, the brand also launches a limited edition version of the fragrance duo, and this year Dolce&Gabbana introduced Limited Edition Sunset in Salina and Swimming in Lipari.

[Sharing] BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme Perfume

 

Following the successful launch of BOSS JOUR Pour Femme and BOSS NUIT Pour Femme, BOSS Parfums add a new addition and completes the trilogy with BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme.

This new Eau de Parfum comes in the same elegant flacon design as the duo, with a precision cut crystal lid and a gold band, but packed in a soft shade of pink, a color chosen by Jason Wu, Artistic Director of BOSS Womenswear.

The new fragrance, positioned itself and with “ma vie” denoting “my life” in French, was inspired by an element of the BOSS woman’s life that until now has gone unnoticed. It draws on the pleasure she feels when she chooses to step out of her day to day routine, slow down, loosen up and simply enjoy a moment for herself. Recently, I’ve attended an event hosted by Elizabeth Arden to preview its 2 new products – Elizabeth Arden’s new Ceramide Boosting 5-Minute Facial and Untold Eau Legere Parfum.

The Mediterranean love story of the celebrated Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue perfumes returns with a fascinating new chapter. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana worked closely with Mario Testino to create the sequel of the Light Blue story. Bianca Balti’s character portrays the Italian femme fatale. She represents the Dolce&Gabbana woman: a self-assured beauty who her lover cannot resist.

The First Fragrance by Repetto

 

Recently, I was invited to the launch event of Repetto’s first-ever fragrance that was held at VivoCity.

I’m not familiar with ballet and it was fun getting a glimpse into a world of ballet during the event. Elegance is the first thing that comes into my mind when I see ballet. The graceful dancing, the lovely ballet tu tu, the ballerina shoes (that are tied with satin ribbon around the ankle) and the ballerina bun.

Repetto, the icon of French heritage for ballerina shoes, has now created a fragrance of their very own, an elegant aura, like a ballerina performing an arabesque driven by a subtle signature providing self-confidence and lifting the body into the air like a Carlotta ballerina.

Repetto was founded by Rose Repetto in 1947 when she decided to design a pair of shoes for her son, the dancer and choreographer Roland Petit. Using the famous ‘stitch and return’ process, the hand-sewn shoes were soon loved by all the dancers at the opera house. The brand now represents French style around the world and remains loyal to its ballet heritage with beautiful stores.

Miss Dorothée Gilbert, Principal Dancer of the Opéra National de Paris, has been the Repetto ambassador since January 2012. This key visual was photographed by James Bort in the privacy of her dressing room, the Danseuse Etoile prepares to go on stage.
