Last Tuesday, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair celebrating its 30 Years of Innovation and I was privileged to be invited for the exclusive grand event at Grand Hyatt Hotel The Gallery.
This 30th anniversary celebration was attended by media representatives from magazines, press and major departmental stores.
It was an eye-opening event and I truly enjoyed it! During the event, I was glad to uncover the history, breakthrough and innovation behind the Advanced Night Repair in the past 30 years!

My first impression
In fact, I was first introduced to Night Repair way back in late 1980s when I was barely 20 years old. One fateful day, I was accompanying a colleague (who was 10 years older than me) to Estee Lauder counter at Tangs Orchard to check out the product. Back then, it was called the Night Repair Cellular Recovery Complex. My first impression of it was great and I was pretty impressed that it is the first night treatment ever introduced to the market. Its luxury packaging seem impressive too and I actually tempted to buy one.

In 1982, Estee Lauder launched its first innovative night treatment Night Repair Cellular Recovery Complex. It is the first product developed to help skin repair and recover from the visible effects of environmental assaults. A groundbreaking discovery of working in sync with the skin’s own natural process and circadian rhythms, repairing the signs of aging during sleep.
In 1991, nearly after 10 years later, Estee Lauder reformulated the Night Repair with proprietary antioxidant technologies to help boost skin’s natural renewal process and ability to recover from damage and repair the visible signs of aging overnight. Advanced Night Repair Protective Recovery Complex was born.
In 2009, Estee Lauder’s continuous research in genetic aging has led to a new discovery – Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex. Formulated with exclusive Chronolux Technology that synchronizes clock genes in skin cells and ensures optimal natural repair. It reduces signs of aging and repairs the appearance of past damage caused by major environmental assault. In addition, it neutralizes up to 90% of environmentally generated free radicals and locks in moisture. The formula has over 20 patents worldwide.
