How To Slow Down Intrinsic Aging
..

Although it is inevitable to completely prevent intrinsic aging of the skin, one can develop certain health habits that will help delay the onset and possibly lessen the severity of intrinsic aging symptoms. And also, prevention of sun exposure is the biggest preventable factor.
Diet and exercise
This will not prevent all of intrinsic aging, but good health habits will help the body nourish the skin better and therefore help to fight aging. Avoiding excessive alcohol will also help the body function better. A regular aerobic exercise program and a well-balanced, healthy diet can certainly help an individual live longer and better, as well as helping the skin function in a more healthy manner.
Loads with antioxidants
Many scientists believe that a diet rich in antioxidant foods, or use of antioxidant supplements such as vitamin C and E, and grapeseed and green tea extracts, may help protect body tissues, including the skin, from free radical damage, reducing the signs of aging.
Quit smoking
Smoking is known to severely affect health and function of all cells within the body. Smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke should be avoided for a healthy body or skin.
Good skin care
Using good skin-care products and developing a routine facial skin-care program will obviously help the skin look better.
Plenty of sleep
This is another good health habit, giving the body time to regenerate its tissues and repair damaged cells. Lack of sleep can cause eye circles, puffiness and contribute to stress that can have a debilitating effect on both the mind and the body.
Stress
Each day medical researchers are learning more and more about stress and its effect on health, nutrition and aging. Avoiding high amounts of stress certainly will help avoid premature aging signs of not only the skin, but of the other organs of the body.
