Recently, I was super delighted to receive a 6-color eyeshadow palette, including 2 NEW Sparkle Eye Shadow colors from Bobbi Brown’s New Eye Shadow Collection, plus Extreme Party Mascara, Ultra Fine Eye Liner and Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner! Many thanks to Bobbi Brown Singapore!
This season, Bobbi perfects her eye shadow collection, inspired by requests from fans and makeup artists alike, to create the most diverse shade range for all skin tones. Available in Sparkle (NEW), Matte, Shimmer Wash and Metallic formulas, the collection comprises of 24 new shades that give women more shade options and textures to choose from.
Love its sleek, flip-top compact palette with a big mirror! Each shadow can be used individually or popped into this handy customizable palette which is sold separately.
Bone No.2, Cement No.29 and Rich Espresso No.47 have matte formula that are extremely wearable! This subtle nude collection available in 10 shades. The metallic Midnight No.12, Bobbi’s boldest formula, combines rich, high-pigment color with intense pearl-like shimmer. There are 2 metallic shades available.
Super loved these 2 sparkling shades, Mica No.4 and Black Chocolate No.22! The NEW Sparkle Eye Shadow, Bobbi’s unique featherweight formula, features a combination of multi-dimensional shimmering pearls and glitter that instantly brightens eyes with pure, sparkling color. The NEW Sparkle Eye Shadow available in 10 shades!
Showcasing all the 6 colors individually.
Without flash. The Midnight No.12 appears almost black without the flash light.
The 2 new Sparkle eyeshadow shades, Black Chocolate No.22 and Mica No.4, look really pretty!
I decided to create 2 different looks, Korean Day Look and Smokey Night Look, with these 6 lovely colors! Let’s starts with the Korean Day Look!
Korean Day Look
Step 1: Apply Bone No.2 all over eyelid. Step 2: Apply Cement No.29 from lash line to slightly above the crease line. Step 3: Apply Mica No.4 and a tinge of Rich Espresso No.47 over Cement. Step 4: Apply Gel Eyeliner on top and outer corner of bottom lash line, then blend out using Cement.
The superbly soft powder of the Mica No.4 glides on smoothly and it gives a subtle glittery finish. Love it!
In fact, this is my first attempt applying Gel Eyeliner. I was pretty surprised on how easy to apply it, thanks to the Ultra Fine Eye Liner brush! The Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner gives a softer and natural look than a liquid eyeliner actually.
Here’s my Korean Day Look! Love it!
Eye makeup will not be completed without eyeliner and mascara! Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara lengthens and volumizes my lashes instantly with just one stroke.
Smokey Night Look
Step 1 and 2 are similar to Korean Day Look. Step 3: Blend Midnight No.12 out and upward. Step 4: Apply Mica No.4 and Black Chocolate No.22 over Cement No.29. A tinge of Mica at tear ducts. Step 5: Apply Gel Eyeliner on top and bottom lash line, then blend out using Midnight.
The Midnight shade is pretty long-lasting and it doesn’t smudge after many hours later.
Here’s my Smokey Night Look.
