Genuine VS Counterfeit BAWANG Natural Herbal Shampoos

.

A while ago, I have written an article on BAWANG Natural Herbal Shampoo and briefly mentioned about the BAWANG counterfeit products and how to differentiate them. Coincidently after I’ve published the article, I’ve happened to uncover some photos which were taken many months back that show genuine and counterfeit BAWANG packagings.

Look closely (images below), you will be able to identify the differences between them. And I strongly believe that the one of the right is a genuine product. The one on the right has a Hannah Holding seal that says ‘BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS’ on the top cover of the box and the one on the left doesn’t have one at all. IMPORTANT : all genuine BAWANG shampoos ALWAYS come with a Hannah Holding seal!

The Jacky Chan image on the right packaging is clearer, sharper and brighter in color whilst the one on the left is duller, darker and blurred. And to compare further, the shirt that Jacky Chan is wearing, it looks more bluish and brighter on the right box while the one on the left, it looks more grayish and washed. And also his skin tone on the right box is fairer but the left box is much pinkish and tan.

The font type on both boxes are different too! The font type on the right box is San Serif font (straight font) which is more legible and the left box is Serif font (curvy font) which is harder to read. The ‘Hair Darkening’ product title on the right box is clearer, brighter and light gold in color whilst the left box is darker and blurred. And the word ‘Shampoo’ after the words ‘Hair Darkening’ is slightly smaller on the left box as compare to the right.

I believe most consumers are not aware of these differences at all. So the easy way to differentiate between the counterfeit and genuine products is to look for one with the Hannah Holding seal that says ‘BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS’ on the packaging. And to ensure if you are buying the genuine products, it is also advisable to buy the products from the authorized dealers – Hannah, NTUC FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant, Watsons, Guardian, Unity, CK, OG, Mustafa, Sheng Siong, Prime, Shop & Save, Venus Beauty, Hockhua, ZTP, Robinson, SPC Petrol Station, Good Luck Supermarket, Spring, Ang Mo Supermarket, Orange Department Store, Pink Beauty, Shine.
