SANA’S Natural Resource Bloggers Challenge

First we started with a discussion on the causes of sensitive skin and the correct regimen for it. Follow by with a skin diagnosis session so as to sponsor us with the right products. The blogger’s challenge is to test all the complimentary SANA’s Natural Resource set for a month after which a regroup will be made to access our skin to see the difference between before and after the usage.

.

What causes sensitive skin?

Many people with sensitive skin will usually have dry skin too. If your skin is sensitive and dry, you may feel sore, tight, itching, redness, burning or stinging. As sensitive skin is not usually genetic, it is often caused by UV rays, stress, dryness, inflammation, dirt and skin-irritant ingredients like alcohol and fragrance. Appropriate cleansing, moisturizing, and UV protection are required to keep healthy skin condition.

SANA’s Natural Resource Sensitive Skin Challenge -
Do You Dare It?

SANA’s Natural Resource, derived from natural ingredients, are specially created for sensitive skin.
This natural brand contains six botanical ingredients such as Balsam Extract, Wild Rose Extract, Megwort Extract, White Birch Extract, Brown Sugar Extract and Adlay Extract, treating delicate skin from within. These gentle products mildly treat skin that are rough, acne, discolorations by dead skin and damage from ultralight rays. It is believe that the function of natural ingredients resembling the skin’s barrier agent gently protect sensitive skin from outside.

What I like about this botanical brand is the refreshing natural aroma.

The natural aromas are Lavender, Bergamote (Orange), Rosewood, Geranlum and Grapefruit.

SANA’s Natural Resource is additive-free. NO colorants, mineral oil, alcohol (except Skin Lotion AC), paraben, ultraviolet ray absorbent agent and artificial fragrances.

A Brief Review

So far, I have tested all the complimentary products (except Moist Skincare Powder 24h) and now I’m on my second weeks, I’m able to see some slight improvement on my skin. Although I have extremely sensitive skin, so far there is no major skin reaction at all. Stay tuned for my full review!

.

I especially like the Cleansing Oil and the Foamed Wash. My skin is thoroughly clean and it feels fresh and smooth.

.

.

I also like the Liquid Foundation and the Loose Powder too. I like the light and matt texture of the foundation. The finish effect is good, my skin feels matt and natural. The color is very close to my skin tone and it doesn’t clog my pores at all. The loose powder is fine and translucent and it doesn’t make my face looks cakey at all.

.

The Day Milk Lotion and Night Cream are pretty good too. They are so lightweight that help keep my skin moisture all day long without feeling sticky at all.

.

And also check out one of the SANA interesting product – Moist SkinCare Powder 24h. This is the last step regimen for NIGHT (Yes, for night!) that helps seal in moisture after skin care, leaving skin smooth without feeling sticky. Now you can dare meet your boyfriend at night without the sticky look on your face! :-)

Do you have sensitive, acne-prone or problematic skin? If you do, do you dare to take up the SANA’s Natural Resource Sensitive Skin Challenge?

    Hi,

I have had sensitive skin all my life. From my early teens to working life, I have endured sensitive skin which often ends in red marks and blothes on my face and body. I also suffer from frequent breakouts of acne and general itchiness around my eye area which makes it red. It often give the impression of being ‘punched’ in the face ! I have tried all sorts of expensive and counter brands of skin care to no avail & would love to try SANA’s products !

I do not have sensitive skin till sometime back when i tried a mask. The mask had caused havov (redness, itchiness, and worse of all it swollen my face) to my skin ever since. My double eye lids were gone due to the puffy and swollen eyes… just recalling back my look when i saw myself in the mirror gives me goosebumps. It took me almost a week to heal but ever since, my skin have become sensitive. Sigh, hence I could not continue with my usual skincare products and had to look for sensitive range.

My skin is sensitive and also very thin such that some veins are visible to the eye. It is disturbing as I am told that sensitive skin will have premature ageing.
Sometimes, the skin will turn a redness that makes me look like I am blushing, which is embarrassing. People always ask if I have lived in a cold country before, as the face is very red. Till now, I still wonder how red cheeks are associated with living in a cold country…? is it the eskimos..? I hope I will not to be called auntie rosy by my nieces and nephews. As there is no cure for it, just hope to find some products that can soothe it, and not aggravate it like some I have tried.
