Recently, SK-II Singapore launched its first Pitera™ House at TANGS Orchard to pay tribute to SK-II’s heritage of crystal clear skin steeped in its behind the miracle ingredient Pitera™.
I was glad to be invited to join SK-II to rediscover the beauty secret and iconic legacy of miracle ingredient Pitera™ upon a chance observation of the soft, youthful hands of elderly sake brewers that began 30 years ago. The discovery has led to the launched of iconic Facial Treatment Essence in 1980, the first-ever essence of its kind that is sold in every 23 seconds, with over 30 million bottles sold to date. Today, since that first miracle discovery, SK-II’s signature Pitera™ continues to remain at the heart of the prestige skincare brand.
The intimate launch was attended by more than 70 guests comprising of Mediacorp celebrities, media and SK-II-s retail partners who toasted to a legacy of crystal clear transformations that would not have been possible without the discovery of the Pitera™ miracle. Mediacorp celebrities, Rebecca Lim and Qi YuWu, were cordially invited to make special appearance to learn the unique story behind SK-II’s miracle ingredient.
Kicking off the programme was an in-depth science session led by Tara Yamaguchi, SK-II Scientific Communications Manager, who delved into research and science of Pitera™ that powered the creation of SK-II’s first Facial Treatment Essence.
