Panasonic “Beauty of Empowerment” Bloggers Workshop

.

Few Saturdays ago, I was extremely delighted to attend my first Panasonic event – “Beauty of Empowerment” Bloggers Workshop.

Panasonic Corporation based in Osaka Japan is the world’s leading manufacturers of electronic and electrical products. It offers a wide range of consumer products ranging from digital av, home appliances, health & beauty, business solutions, communications and housing-related products.

In September 2012, Panasonic Asia Pacific launched their new beauty campaign “Beauty of Empowerment” in Bangkok and unveiled its latest range of innovative Panasonic Beauty products for the South-East Asian market.

Four new Brand Ambassadors were introduced during the beauty campaign – (from left to right) Marion Caunter (Malaysia/Singapore), Atiqah Hasiholan (Indonesia), Yaya Sperbund (Thailand) and Duong Truong Thien Ly (Vietnam).

Here’s the Panasonic TV commercial featuring the four new brand ambassadors and the range of new Panasonic Beauty products.

Panasonic “Beauty of Empowerment” Bloggers Workshop

A set of styling tools (extra large curl, large curl, medium curl, straightener and volumizer) was provided for each bloggers.

The workshop, held at Momo & MooMoo, began with an introduction of Panasonic latest beauty products such as Nanocare Facial Ionic Steamer, Eyelash Curler, Wet/Dry Epilator and Pocket Doltz Toothbrush.

These new beauty products (including Hair Care, Facial Care, Body Care and Oral Care), will be launching in October 2012, are created to provide fuss-free beauty solutions for busy and active women.

For this exclusive workshop, an expert stylist was invited to demonstrate and give tips on how to achieve different hairstyles with Panasonic tools.

As we got to style our hair during the workshop, we have to come with clean hair with no styling agents. My unstyled hair looked frizzy and messy hee hee……

I began my DIY styling by creating a wavy hair look however I realized my hair is too short (slightly below shoulder length) to even create the look I want. Eventually I decided to undo my hair and make it straight.

This was 90% done. I managed to create a volumized straight looking hair with big waves at the ends.

Upon the hairdo, we were photographed by their professional photographer to participate in a special online effluence challenge.

I noticed almost all the bloggers have created wavy hair during the workshop and I believe I might be the only one with straight hair. :-)

Upon the event, I was super delighted to receive 2 big bags of Panasonic products! WOW! Inside the bags, there are……

Panasonic Nanocare Platinum Hot / Cold Steamer (EH2473), a hot and cool beauty treatment recommended by specialists, is designed to produce hot steam to soften the skin and cool mist to pull skin tight. As every bloggers will randomly receive different products for review, I’m super lucky to receive this steamer. Retailing at S$599, it is in fact the most expensive product of all! :D

Panasonic WET/DRY Epilator ES-WD94 (on the left), retailing at S$169, gently illuminates hairs on the body and hard dry skin on the heels without drying up the skin. Nanocare Hairdryer EH-NA30VP (on the right), retailing at S$139, is designed with nanoe technology that helps scalp sebum reduce more easily. Thanks to Panasonic’s unique nanoe technology, hair is shiny and well-moisturised; scalp becomes healthier.

Panasonic Deep Bass Fit (for iPod), Pocket Doltz Toothbrush EW-DS11 (S$34.90), Joico Travel Kit and Panasonic batteries. Many thanks to Panasonic Singapore for sponsoring all these products to me! :D

I will be reviewing above beauty products soon. Do stay tuned! You may want to check out other new beauty products such as Pore Cleanser, Face-Hair Ionizer, Facial Roller, Platinum Ion Straightener and Eyelash Curler at their new “Beauty of Empowerment” website.
