Find Out What Are The Exclusive Great Bargains (Up To 40% Savings) At Perfumes & Cosmetics @ Changi Airport

I’m a skincare junkie and I absolutely love shopping around for skincare products.

When it comes to best bargain on skincare products, I find that nothing beats Perfumes & Cosmetics @ Singapore Changi Airport! Do you know I can actually save up to 40% off downtown prices when I shop at Perfumes & Cosmetics? What’s more, I can also save the 7% GST when I shop at the airport too.

With these irresistible offers, I will make it a point to stock up my beauty products at airport whenever I’m traveling abroad. And that is why I even hardly buy any beauty products at the downtown departmental stores unless I’m running out of a beauty product or urgently in need of it.

I’m pleasantly surprised to learn that there are over 120 international beauty brands at the 22 Perfumes & Cosmetics stores at Changi Airport.

Changi Airport’s Perfumes & Cosmetics stores, managed by Nuance-Watson, offer a ‘lowest price’ guarantee. Their product prices are reviewed each month to ensure that they are lower, or at least as competitive as some leading Asia-Pacific airports and local downtown department stores.

Below are some of the great finds that I came across during my recent visit to at the Perfumes & Cosmetics (P&C) stores at Changi Airport. Apart from great prices, there are travel exclusives and limited edition sizes that are not available anywhere else. Do note that the prices are adjusted monthly according to currency movements, to ensure that they are the most competitive in the region.

This Travel Exclusive Lancome Genifique Concentrate in 100ml (far left) is a super great buy! Retailing at only S$201 for a big 100ml bottle (exclusively available at Changi Airport only), you are actually paying less and getting more! At downtown departmental stores, it will cost you S$170 for a 50ml bottle and S$210 for a 75ml bottle.

Spotted this latest Travel Exclusive Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Trio Pack at Perfumes & Cosmetics, retailing at only S$95.50 for 3 mascaras (downtown price at S$50 each). By getting this Travel Exclusive pack, you can actually save up to S$50.50, which means you are saving close to S$17 per piece.

The NEW Lancome Rouge In Love lipstick line which has just been launched at departmental stores on 1st June, will soon be available at Changi Airport.

It is retailing at S$30.50 at Perfumes & Cosmetics stores and you can save S$9.50 (S$40 at downtown departmental stores).

My favorite Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler (usual price at S$32.00 at downtown departmental stores) is now priced at only S$18.20! You are saving S$13.80!

Are you a fan of SK-II? You’ll be surprised that Perfumes & Cosmetics stores (I find) actually offer the best deals on SK-II products. I made a comparison recently and I’m pleasantly surprised that the retailing prices for SK-II products are actually lower at Perfumes & Cosmetics stores than in Japan. ˜º

You will be saving more than 34% for SK-II Whitening Spot Specialist 50ml (above) when you purchase it at Changi Airport, retailing at S$169 only. It will cost you S$258 at downtown departmental stores.

WOW!! What a SUPER GREAT BUY! Definitely an offer not to be missed for those FTE lovers!

Following the world’s first launch of SK-II Wrinkle Specialist and Skin Signature Eye Cream in 2011, and in June 2012 Changi Airport once again is proud to be the world’s first to launch the latest anti-aging product – SK-II STEMPOWER Cream. This anti-aging moisturizer is designed to tackle primary signs of aging such as dryness, pores, textures, radiance and lack of firmness; and to make you feel radical firmness in 10 days. Retailing at S$116 for 50g and S$167 for 80g, it is currently only available at Perfumes & Cosmetics stores.

Alike to downtown departmental stores, you will also receive special free gift sets when you make a purchase at certain amounts (from various brands) at Perfumes & Cosmetics stores.

For more super savings, do check out the Travel Exclusive Sets from many brands like Lancome, Clinique and SK-II, that are up to 40% off from downtown prices.

Exclusive Brands

Fancl (only skincare & supplement), Aura by Swarovski and Philosophy are some of the new additions to Perfumes & Cosmetics’ extensive range of beauty brands.

Spotted a Harrods store at newly renovated Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Bath & Body Works, RNC, Rance, Sulwhasoo, Yves Saint Laurent and Victoria’s Secret are some of the exclusive brands and products that are exclusively available at Changi Airport. They are not available elsewhere in Singapore or any part of Asia (except YSL and Sulwhasoo in Asia).

Sulwhasoo from Korea, famous for its traditional philosophy of “Sang-Seng”, for the first time is available in South-East Asia airports and Singapore since 2012.

Focusing on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Sulwhasoo uses ginseng as the key herbal ingredient for its unparalleled traditional energy-balancing preparations and holistic approach to skin. 10 millions of First Care Serums have been sold since 1997, at the rate of one serum every 25 seconds.

After bargain hunting at the Perfumes & Cosmetic stores, I checked out another exciting new beauty store that just arrived at Terminal 1.

Calling out all those sexy Victoria’s Secret Beauty fans! Victoria’s Secrets is now available at Changi Airport!

Victoria’s Secret Beauty products, first introduced to the travellers at Changi Airport, and Singapore consumers at its Terminal 3 mega store in January 2008. The new T1 store (above pictures) is based on Victoria’s Secret’s new Travel and Tourism concept with focus on its beauty and branded accessories, hence the store name “Victoria’s Secret Beauty & Accessories”.

In addition to its beauty products, this new concept store also gives customers the access to a range of popular products from the famous US lingerie brand, together with a limited assortment of their best-selling innerwear, sleepwear, loungewear, sunglasses and bags.

Check out a range of Victoria Secret Body Mists that are only retailing at S$19 only.

You may also purchase Victoria’s Secret Beauty products at most of the Perfumes & Cosmetics stores too.

Since I’m a frequent shopper at Changi Airport, I’ve actually signed up for the Changi Rewards card to enjoy points that can be exchanged for Changi Airport Dollars vouchers. The more I spend, the greater the rewards! ˜º

Hi, I am travelling to singapore and malaysia in october. Is the sk-ii products cheaper in changi or klia? Do u know? Also, should i purchase skincare products on arrival or upon departure? Ant difference in the price? Thanks!!!

  6. Shirleen says:

    Hi Sofia,

Not able to make a comparison as I never check the price on SK-II at KLIA before, but I guess it is very likely that Changi offers a better budget.

You should buy the beauty products at departure halls @ Changi Airport as the Perfumes & Cosmetics outlets at departure hall are much much bigger (with wide selection of brands) than arrival halls.

  7. Suzanne says:

Hi, do you know whether the skin care of Estee Lauder or Clinique is cheaper in Changi or US?

  8. Shirleen says:

    Hi Suzanne,

Not too sure though. Based on the current currency exchange, I reckon US will be slightly cheaper for some products.

  9. radzi says:

    Hye Shirleen,

What a good information! I wanted to buy sk ii products for my gf. May i ask a few questions.

    1) is the department located at the three terminals? If not, which terminal is the best?

    2) is there any christmas sale at changi on 15th december onwards?

I plan to fly from klia using jetstar on 15th, but since u said it is better to be in departure hall, i want to know which airline should i use for going back to kl. :-)

  10. Shirleen says:

    Hi Radzi,

    1. You can get SK-II products at all Perfumes & Cosmetics stores located at all 3 Changi Airport Terminals. If you’re flying by Jetstar, you are able to get the beauty products from the Terminal 1 stores.

    2. Perfumes & Cosmetics stores do not run Christmas sale but the stores usually have attractive Christmas gift sets, such as a fragrance with body lotion or limited edition giveaways.

    3. Perfumes & Cosmetics stores located at all 3 departure halls offer the same great deals hence you can travel back on any airline that best suits your budget and preference.

  11. Hang says:

My friend is going to Singapore next week and come back on 17 Nov. I am wondering if I can still get the saving price with SKII products like: Facial treatment essence, stempower cream, wrinkle specialist.
    Any gift for those products?

  12. Shirleen says:

    Hi Hang,

Don’t worry, the special deals for SK-II products will be there. The gift-with-purchase changes time to time, hence I wouldn’t be able to advise on that.

  13. ling says:

    Hi Shirleen,

May i know in which terminal is Sulwhasoo and Philosophy counter located?
Because i can’t recall seeing them in DFS Terminal 1.

  14. Shirleen says:

    Hi Ling,

I spotted both brands at Terminal 3 during my last visit.

  15. ying says:

hi! is victoria secret available at the arrivals?

  16. Shirleen says:

    Hi Ying,
I don’t remember seeing it at arrival halls, it will be safer to purchase it at departure hall.

  17. linus says:

hello, any idea if there is a dermalogica counter at Changi airport? thanks!

  18. Azel says:

Hi Shirleen, do you have any idea whether perfume & comestic are sold cheaper in the departure hall? Or both departure and arrival hall cost the same? Thanks!

  19. Debbie says:

    Hi Shirleen,

It’s me again. Just wanna ask you, the price of the SK-II product in Changi DFS and Bangkok DFS any different? And if better to buy in Singapore, departure hall and arrival hall any price different? Both departure hall and arrival hall is excluding the 7% GST? Sorry for asking so many questions. Didn’t go departure hall before, only arrival hall at terminal 1 i think. Thanks alot!

    • Shirleen says:

      Hi Debbie,

Not too sure about Bangkok DFS, but what I have heard is DFS at Changi Airport provides the best price for SK-II products. There’s no difference in pricing at departure and arrival hall with no 7% GST.
