Early this week, I’ve received a complimentary beauty box by Glamabox.
Glamabox, first launched in Hong Kong and is founded by renowned-model and host Lisa S, wife of Daniel Wu. It has recently been expanded the beauty subscription service offer to Singapore. With a monthly subscription of S$18, Singapore ladies may now receive a Glamabox per month, which is claimed to contain 5 Beauty products and services from luxurious and reputable brands, all personally-selected by Lisa S. to be delivered monthly to their doorsteps.
Although, I have never been interested in this kind of subscription service offer and since it was an offer to me for review, I agreed hesitantly.
Upon receiving the box, my first impression was why so light? And after opening the box, I was not suprised to find out that the box is sparsely filled.
It contains 5 beauty products which are Neogence Hyaluronic Hydrating Eye Cream in 15ml (made in Taiwan), Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Lip Balm in 15ml (made in Spain), a piece of VOV Wash Off Pack Green Tea Collagen Mask (made in Korea), Cyber Colors Hand Cream in 30ml (made in Korea) and Perfective Ceuticals Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy Cream in 4ml (country unknown). And a skin hydrating treatment gift certificate from Touche Elite.
The Perfective Ceuticals Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy Cream in 4ml looks more like a sample/trial piece than an actual product.
Other than Touche Elite, I’ve never heard of any of the beauty brands before so luxurious and reputable brands as they claimed may not seem appropriate in Singapore. I will never want to risk of getting irritation by applying something unknown on my face though. Therefore, it is very likely I will skip all products except the hand cream and maybe lip balm. And I believe these brands are not even available in Singapore, am I right?
I probably will give it a miss on this service but otherwise if you are keen, you may visit their website for more details.
