Treatment Review - How I Achieve My Radiance Skin With Microdermabrasion
Recently, I have noticed my skin looking dull and dry, reason due to accumulation of dead skins cells on the surface of my skin. Another obvious indication I have also noticed is the loose powder which I apply every morning doesn’t seems to blend evenly, it somehow looks patchy and cakey on my skin. When this happen, the best method to rejuvenate my skin again, is to go for a good exfoliation.
In order to remove the dead skin cells effectively, I will highly recommend a monthly microdermabrasion session. I have tried and tested many methods of exfoliation, and I would say microdermabrasion session done at Bella Skin Care, is my best remedy so far.

Why exfoliation is essential?
The outer surface of the skin has many layers of dead skin cells which has been pushed upward to the skin surface by the actively growing new skin cells in the deep basal cell layer of the epidermis. These new cells are plumper, have more moisture and after the dead cells are removed by exfoliation the newer cells are exposed and reveal a healthy glowing and more youthful cast to the skin surface. When the dead skin cells are removed, it will help to give a better penetration of rejuvenating topical agents intended to remove pigmentation and stimulate new skin cell formation in the epidermis and collagen production in the dermis.
How microdermabrasion helps to exfoliate my skin
As usual, I will make a trip down to Bella Skin Care located at International Building at Orchard Road for a microdermabrasion session. Microdermabrasion involves the use of a device that first sprays mineral crystals onto my skin and then sucks them back up inside. It’s like sandblasting the skin. As the crystals are swooshed back up into the vacuum, the dead outer layers of skin go with them.

WAHHH!!! See it for yourself, the pictures say it all.
See how dirty is the filter.
Microdermabrasion has helped to unblock my pores, remove my dead skin cells, dirt, environmental debris and skin oils accumulate on the surface of the skin. My skin is slightly pink and minimal red spots appear after the treatment due to my skin sensitivity.
Results
Enlarged pores have been reduced significantly. It also improve my skin texture and give me a radiance glow.

I have signed up as a package which work out around $200 per session. I can’t remember the exact cost but I remember I did some bargaining with them and eventually they gave me a good price.
Yes microdermabrasion helps to reduce the enlarged pores but I’m not too sure if it helps on oily skin.
